1970s LOUIS STERN Gold Rainbow Rhinestone Necklace

This striking vintage necklace features three rows of polished gold-tone links finished with a curved statement centerpiece covered in sparkling clear rhinestones and a brilliant row of jewel-tone rainbow crystals.

Dating to approximately the late 1970s to early 1980s, the necklace bears an LS maker's mark on the clasp and is attributed to Louis Stern, an American costume-jewelry maker. Closely comparable signed LS pieces feature the same combination of multi-row gold-tone links, clear rhinestones and rainbow-colored square crystals.
